Business Development Manager (Daily rentals)

Role Overview

As the Business Development Manager for the daily rentals / short-term rental platform, you will drive host growth, build strategic partnerships, and improve operational processes. The position is centered on increasing the supply of hosts and properties, strengthening relationships with owners, and creating smoother internal workflows that support occupancy growth, a stronger host experience, and scalable expansion.

Host Acquisition and Partnerships

• Find, approach, and bring new hosts and property partners on board to expand the short-term rental inventory.
• Create and implement acquisition plans to increase listings in priority areas.
• Handle commercial negotiations and define partnership terms.

Operations and Host Management

• Serve as the main contact for hosts and ensure a seamless onboarding journey with continued support.
• Coordinate daily listing operations, availability management, pricing alignment, and readiness of properties.
• Maintain host satisfaction through regular communication, problem resolution, and performance discussions.

Process and System Improvement

• Assess current workflows and identify inefficiencies or gaps.
• Work with internal teams to improve systems, processes, and user experience on the platform.
• Contribute to automation and digitization efforts that enhance scalability and data quality.

Performance and Growth

• Track and interpret key metrics such as occupancy rate, ADR (Average Daily Rate), revenue per unit, and host retention.
• Improve listing visibility and pricing tactics across channels to strengthen performance.

Compliance and Coordination

• Keep up to date with local regulations, licensing rules, and compliance requirements for short-term rentals.
• Support the handling of host and guest issues in partnership with internal teams.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in property management, hospitality, short-term rentals, or business development.
• Solid understanding of listing operations, occupancy improvement, and pricing strategy.
• Background in host acquisition, commercial negotiations, and inventory scaling.
• Knowledge of local laws, licensing rules, and other short-term rental compliance obligations.
• Ability to evaluate KPIs such as ADR, occupancy rate, and revenue per unit.
• Strong sales, host acquisition, and negotiation capabilities.
• Practical experience with booking platforms and property management systems.
• Proven ability to optimize processes and handle several workflows efficiently.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic, spoken and written.
