Role Overview

This position reports directly to the Head of Strategy, Finance Director, and CEO, collaborating closely with other senior leaders. The core responsibilities involve strategic planning, influence on business direction, market evaluation, and ongoing financial analysis. A significant portion of the role is dedicated to financial modelling activities, including developing new models and maintaining existing operational ones.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough market research and analysis to guide business decisions.
• Plan projects and perform strategic assessments combined with financial modelling.
• Manage financial planning and analysis to support the company’s growth.
• Participate actively in pitch presentations and deal negotiations.
• Develop and analyze scenario models to forecast outcomes.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to the company’s board of directors.
• Contribute insights and advice to shape the strategic direction of the firm.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Background in corporate finance, financial analysis, or modelling is essential.
• Experience within the energy, infrastructure, or utilities sectors is highly desirable.
• A versatile skillset to engage with the full spectrum of deal flow in a fast-growing environment.
