Position Overview
We are seeking a Head of the Project Management Office (PMO) to join full-time, responsible for leading and advancing the entire project management organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic evolution of the PMO across the organization.
- Establish and refine standardized project management methods, standards, and tools, including IPMA.
- Develop and implement company-wide, tailored project reporting systems.
- Ensure transparency regarding project status, resource utilization, and budgetary progress.
- Provide both functional and disciplinary leadership and foster growth within the PMO team.
- Act as a collaborative partner for business units, project leaders, and management.
- Coordinate enterprise-wide program management and operational project control.
- Guarantee projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality requirements; report to senior management and escalate risks promptly.
Required Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience with a successful record in team development and management.
- Strong execution skills and extensive hands-on experience in project and program management, preferably in industrial construction.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector is advantageous.
- Comfortable and pragmatic use of recognized project management frameworks such as IPMA, GPM, or PRINCE2.
- Robust assertiveness, excellent organizational skills, and strategic thinking capability.
- Solution-focused approach with the ability to maintain a clear overview in complex situations.
- A blend of technical expertise and strong commercial acumen.
- Confident demeanor and enthusiasm for high-level collaboration with executive management.
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.

Compensation
The annual gross salary can be up to 120,000 euros depending on qualifications and prior experience.
