About the Role
As a Brand Manager for Sanofi's Vaccines UKIE MCO team located in Reading, UK, you will spearhead the strategic transformation of the Pneumo, Meningitis, Endemics & Travel vaccine franchise. This portfolio includes six vaccines with three forthcoming launches. You will be responsible for shaping a 3 to 5 year vision aimed at evolving the franchise into a fully digital, efficient, resource-optimized model that reallocates investments to boost launch success. Full profit and loss accountability is a key aspect of this position. The work arrangement requires presence in the Reading office three days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a 3–5 year transformational strategy focusing on digitization and reducing field dependencies to optimize resources and support future launches for the PMED franchise.
- Manage full P&L responsibilities encompassing commercial policies, budget allocation, and pricing tactics that maximize returns and finance strategic goals.
- Create comprehensive, integrated brand and omnichannel marketing plans for the PMED vaccine portfolio aligned with global and MCO objectives.
- Coordinate launch readiness and planning for pipeline products by engaging cross-functional teams including medical, regulatory, supply chain, and commercial departments.
- Drive customer engagement through digital channels by managing online assets such as Campus pages, Sanofi Vaccines website, and promotional approval platforms (PromoMats/Veeva Vault), executing omnichannel campaigns and partnerships.
- Oversee demand forecasting and supply chain alignment to ensure product availability, manage inventory constraints, and maintain 3 to 6 month demand planning accuracy.
- Supervise the lifecycle management of promotional materials ensuring compliance with ABPI regulations and coordinate product information updates.
- Optimize field force training resources utilizing digital learning platforms (iLearn) to maintain compliance while increasing efficiency.
- Collaborate with global PMED and Meninge teams to tailor strategies, brand plans, and materials to the UK and Ireland markets.
Candidate Profile
- A degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Certified to ABPI Level 3 standards or equivalent.
- Proven history in brand management within pharmaceuticals or healthcare, preferably vaccines or well-established portfolios.
- Experience managing P&L, budgets, pricing strategies, and commercial policies.
- Expertise in designing and implementing digital-first, omnichannel marketing initiatives.
- Familiarity with launch planning, launch excellence, and market access mechanisms in the UK healthcare setting.
- Background in demand planning, supply chain coordination, and broader commercial operations.
- Knowledge of promotional material approval software such as PromoMats or Veeva Vault.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance including ABPI guidelines and product information updates.
- Strategic visionary with transformation leadership capabilities.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Data-driven decision-making approach and proficiency in problem-solving.
- Fluent in English.
