Role overview

The Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) function sits within Global Compliance and helps coordinate the firmwide anti-financial crime framework. It develops and oversees systems and controls intended to prevent and detect money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions breaches, fraud, corruption and related misconduct.

Within FCC, the Conduct and Insider Threat (C&I) team supports the Business Integrity and Insider Threat programmes as well as compliance conduct risk. This role will contribute to the C&I agenda across Asia Pacific, helping strengthen business integrity and employee conduct standards for the regional and firmwide programme.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a supporter of the firm’s core values, business principles and code of conduct and ethics.
  • Help drive the Business Integrity and Whistleblower programme.
  • Assess, measure and manage conduct-related risk.
  • Look into suspected policy or conduct breaches.
  • Build and maintain preventative and detective controls, policies, procedures and training materials.
  • Prepare meaningful metrics and management reporting for stakeholders.

Experience and skills

  • Background in handling complex and sensitive investigations.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organised while working independently.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal capability and stakeholder coordination skills.
