Where you'll work
Job description
Role overview
In this position within the Incentive Policy team, you will support both the operational and policy sides of the function. Your work will span fund administration, reporting, processing, compliance checks, and coordination across grants-related activities.
Key responsibilities
You will help maintain the accuracy and completeness of grants records, including issuing reference numbers and updating all relevant entries in a timely manner. This also involves monitoring later project stages such as approvals and disbursements so that database information remains reliable.
You will take ownership of cashflow drawdown projection reporting and handle the full processing cycle for tax incentive documentation.
You will also perform compliance reviews for approved and disbursed grants, assess whether processes and outcomes align with existing policies and procedures, and consolidate your findings into clear reports for internal review.
In addition, you will coordinate user acceptance testing for grants systems and verify migrated data to confirm that information has been transferred accurately. You may also be asked to support other ad hoc assignments and projects suited to the seniority of the role.
Requirements
The role calls for 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience, ideally in grants management, fund administration, financial operations, or a closely related area. Experience in the public sector or a government setting will be an added advantage.
You should have strong analytical and numerical ability, with the precision needed to review financial information, cashflow projections, and compliance results. Clear written and spoken communication is important, as you will prepare professional correspondence and reports.
The position also requires excellent organisation, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage several priorities and deadlines on your own. A solid understanding of regulatory requirements, policy compliance, and internal controls linked to grants or fund management is expected.
Success in the role will also depend on sound business judgement, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in situations that may be complex or uncertain.
