Role overview
This position supports the organisation’s analytics work by helping the team process sizeable datasets and build stronger statistical approaches that lead to better-quality insights.
What you will do
- Create statistical models and methods for handling missing data.
- Use multivariate analysis and related techniques to segment visitor profiles across several dimensions and assign spending behaviour patterns.
- Build and apply imputation approaches for incomplete values using advanced statistical tools.
- Check results and model effectiveness with statistical tests such as the Kruskal-Wallis Test and One-Way ANOVA.
- Combine, clean, and standardise multiple datasets with many fields and records.
- Resolve inconsistencies in column names, value formats, and business rules across different tables.
- Protect data accuracy and consistency by setting up quality assurance checks.
- Record transformation steps clearly and keep detailed data dictionaries up to date.
What the team is looking for
The ideal candidate has training in a quantitative field such as Business Analytics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a similar discipline. You should also bring experience in statistical analysis, validating models, handling large datasets, maintaining data quality, and turning data into useful insights. Comfort with tools such as Python, R, and SQL is important, along with strong research, planning, organisation, time management, presentation, and communication abilities.
