Role Overview
This position is for an Assistant Manager in Legal Project Management (LPM) focusing on contract management. The role entails reviewing and negotiating contract terms, collaborating with legal teams to approve fallback provisions, and managing contract drafting and execution for client and third-party vendor agreements. Typical contracts include Statements of Work, Master Services Agreements, amendments, donation letters, and sponsorship agreements.
The candidate will oversee contract revisions within set limits, ensure delivery of services aligned with client expectations, lead teams monitoring project performance, and spearhead process improvements. Responsibilities also include managing contract approvals, expediting contract cycles by communicating with approvers, handling queue management activities such as request allocation and follow-ups, and maintaining client relationships.
Candidate Requirements
- Legal degree (LLB) with a minimum of 5 years of study.
- 7 to 9 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong negotiation capabilities.
- Experience managing teams and client relationships.
- Proficient in contract review, legal compliance, and documentation.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Competence in using MS Office and various digital tools.
Job Details
- Location: Bangalore, India.
- Work schedule: 9:30 PM to 6:30 AM IST (US shift), non-rotational.
- Employment type: Full-time Hybrid model requiring three onsite days weekly.
- Notice period: Immediate to 30 days.
- Relocation mandatory; this is not a remote job.
