Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow SecOps, IRM, and GRC developer with 2 to 12 years of platform experience. The selected candidate will design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow SecOps solutions, including modules like Policy and Compliance, Risk Management, Audit Management, and Vendor Risk Management. Expertise in ServiceNow Workspace, scripting, integrations, and service portal development is critical to ensure smooth deployment and optimal functionality.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design and implement ServiceNow SecOps solutions covering compliance, risk, audit, and vendor risk management modules.
- Configure and customize workflows, dashboards, and reports aligned with organizational needs.
- Develop and adjust ServiceNow Workspaces for SecOps to facilitate effective task management and user visibility.
- Design and enhance ServiceNow service portals focusing on usability and functional improvements, including catalog form creation and integration with other modules.
- Implement and maintain integrations using REST, SOAP APIs, and MID Servers between ServiceNow and external systems like ERP and ITSM platforms, troubleshooting issues efficiently.
- Create and maintain custom scripts including JavaScript-based Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Script Includes, optimizing them for system performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline SecOps processes consistent with best practices and regulatory demands.
- Provide system administration, regular platform maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting, and support including end-user training.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Practical experience implementing and developing with ServiceNow SecOps module.
- Competence in ServiceNow Workspace design and development.
- Strong scripting skills in ServiceNow technologies: Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes.
- Experience customizing ServiceNow portals, widgets, and UI pages.
- Knowledge of integration technologies including REST and SOAP APIs and problem-solving integration challenges.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow platform administration and optimization.
- Ability to interpret business requirements into viable technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills alongside problem-solving capability.
Preferred Certifications and Experience
- ServiceNow certifications such as Implementation Specialist – Risk and Compliance, TPRM, BCM, Certified System Administrator (CSA), or Certified Application Developer.
- Experience with Agile development methodology.
- Knowledge of additional ServiceNow modules like ITSM, GRC, IRM, or ITOM.
