Role Summary

The Assistant Manager will be part of the Human Capital team at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, driving full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and administrative HR functions to support the resort’s workforce needs and uphold company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment by working with department leaders to assess staffing needs, develop talent pipelines, implement sourcing strategies, and oversee recruitment technologies and applicant tracking systems.
  • Facilitate onboarding and induction for new employees, including documentation, system setup, orientation, cultural assimilation, and probation monitoring with timely feedback.
  • Act as the primary contact for employee queries, administer disciplinary and performance improvement processes equitably, and foster a positive and inclusive workplace through engagement initiatives.
  • Verify monthly payroll inputs for accuracy alongside the payroll team, handle leave and attendance data via the Gantner system, and maintain confidential and precise employee records.
  • Support rollout of Human Capital programs and policies aligned with corporate goals, assist with HR compliance audits, success metrics, and internal reporting.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Between three to five years of experience managing HR or human capital functions, ideally in hospitality or service sectors.
  • Thorough understanding of labor regulations, HR best practices, and compliance requirements, especially within UAE or similar jurisdictions.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
