About the Position
The Assistant Director, International Business Partnership will report to the Team Lead within a dynamic team that manages strategic engagements with key stakeholders. The primary goal is to foster connectivity, support enterprise internationalisation, and help Singapore capitalize on global opportunities as an Intellectual Property (IP) hub in alignment with the Singapore IP Strategy 2030.
This role involves identifying valuable opportunities, forming strategic partnerships, enhancing marketing capabilities, and promoting the adoption of services offered by the IPOS Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute go-to-market strategies to advance business objectives.
- Engage and cultivate relationships with essential stakeholders such as businesses, government bodies, law firms, and trade associations across target international markets.
- Build and expand strategic partnerships to generate long-term value and uncover new opportunities for the IPOS Group.
- Perform market intelligence and analysis to guide strategic positioning and determine priorities for outreach and business development.
- Assist in designing and implementing marketing approaches suited to varied audiences across different regions and sectors.
- Represent the IPOS Group at industry events and conferences by delivering presentations and engaging with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams across functions to align business development efforts with organizational goals.
- Track, assess, and report on the performance of business development activities including pipeline progress and impact metrics.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Law, International Relations, or a related field.
- 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in business development, partnerships, or client engagement, ideally within legal, intellectual property, or professional services sectors.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Strategic thinker with an actionable and results-oriented mindset.
- Demonstrates ambition, resilience, and drive to foster innovation and growth.
- Proactive and resourceful, with a keen ability to streamline processes and identify opportunities.
- Highly detail-oriented and committed to quality in deliverables.
- Familiarity with presentation tools, data analytics, and visualization is a plus.
- Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
