About the Role
A leading private equity real estate investment firm is seeking an Asset Management Analyst to join a team of over 20 professionals. This role is tailored for candidates with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience aiming to deepen their skills in financial modeling, valuation, underwriting, and portfolio analysis. The firm specializes in owning and operating premium assets and attracts top talent within the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive due diligence on potential investments and current portfolio assets
- Develop and update detailed financial models, including discounted cash flow (DCF) and scenario analyses to assess asset performance and expected returns
- Create and deliver reports outlining findings, risks, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and the Investment Committee
- Support transaction management from initial evaluation through closing in collaboration with senior executives and board members
- Prepare investor communications such as financial forecasts, projections, and performance summaries
- Provide quantitative and statistical analysis to aid acquisition decisions
- Work closely with internal departments, including Legal, Compliance, and Marketing
- Track and analyze the performance of previous investments by back-testing assumptions and refining cash flow projections
Candidate Profile
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in fields such as advisory, consulting, research, valuations, private equity, real estate, or investment banking
- Strong academic credentials with emphasis on finance, accounting, economics, or related disciplines
- Preferably experienced in corporate development, mergers & acquisitions, or transaction advisory activities
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and technical analysis with rigorous attention to detail
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of simplifying complex analysis for senior stakeholders
