Role Overview

As an Art Director within the healthcare sector, your role involves collaborating across teams to create compelling marketing visuals tailored to healthcare clients. You will guide creative direction, ensure visual consistency, and deliver top-quality work that anticipates client needs. Responsibilities include leading innovative campaigns spanning multiple brands and accounts, inspiring teams, and overseeing art direction, visual translation, and execution. This position reports to a Creative Director and is part of a dedicated healthcare creative solutions department.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute creative strategies aligned with client business objectives and overarching goals.
• Lead the planning and delivery of design solutions across formats such as print, digital, presentations, social media, video, and animation.
• Mentor and lead designers, copywriters, and other creative personnel, promoting collaboration across departments.
• Engage closely with clients to understand requirements, offer creative recommendations, and ensure their satisfaction.
• Effectively present creative concepts to internal teams, leadership, and clients.
• Contribute actively to proposal preparation and pitch presentations to win new business and enhance client partnerships.
• Review and approve all creative materials to uphold Cramer Health's quality standards and client brand consistency.
• Keep abreast of trends and innovative approaches in healthcare marketing to ensure campaigns remain fresh and effective.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years as an Art Director with over 12 years of design experience.
• At least 3 years of experience specifically within healthcare advertising.
• BFA or BA degree in graphic design or related field.
• A portfolio demonstrating creative strategy, innovation, and design expertise.
• Keen eye for detail with reliable follow-through.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite tools including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Experience designing high-quality presentations.
• Familiarity with UX and UI design principles.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving aptitude, and excellent communication.
• A positive, energetic approach suited for a fast-paced work environment.
