About Kirinari Community Services

Kirinari Community Services is a respected provider of My Aged Care and Home Care services operating in New South Wales and Victoria. Position Overview

This part-time role is based in Wagga Wagga and involves offering quality in-home care to help clients maintain their well-being and independence within their own homes. The services support healthy ageing by assisting clients with various personal and domestic tasks.

Typical Duties

  • Helping with household tasks such as cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, and washing
  • Assisting clients with shopping and attending appointments
  • Providing respite care services
  • Preparing meals
  • Offering social support and encouraging community involvement
  • Supporting personal care needs

Shifts are generally shorter, with paid travel time between clients in localized areas. Mileage between visits is also reimbursable.

Candidate Requirements

  • Availability for shifts Monday to Friday between 7am and 7pm, with some weekend and public holiday work as needed
  • Completion of at least a Certificate III qualification in a health-related field such as Individual Support, Aged Care, Community Services, or Nursing
  • First Aid and CPR certification is desirable or willingness to obtain it
  • Physical capability to perform domestic tasks
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster meaningful client relationships
  • Ability to obtain the NDIS Worker Screening Check before starting
  • Possession of a current driver's license
  • Full comprehensive car insurance or readiness to arrange it
