About the Role
Grow Early Learning is hiring an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join its Finance department in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Education and Experience
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Applicants should have at least 5 years of experience in accounting or accounts payable.
- An associate degree in Business Administration or Accounting is preferred.
- Candidates with 3 or more years of accounting or accounts payable experience are also preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and process invoices while making sure payments are accurate and sent on time.
- Match, reconcile, and maintain accounts within the general ledger.
- Work with vendors and internal teams to address and close out payment or invoice-related issues.
- Support month-end closing activities and prepare journal entries when needed.
- Follow company rules, procedures, and compliance standards in daily work.
