Role overview
This position is part of Google Customer Solutions and focuses on helping small and medium-sized businesses grow through Google advertising products. The role is centered on building strong customer relationships, understanding commercial objectives, and turning them into practical media strategies that drive measurable growth.
You will partner with advertisers to expand their business, improve adoption of Google products, and shape advertising approaches that reach the right users. The work involves managing customer needs with a strategic, consultative mindset and collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver strong outcomes.
Preferred working locations for applicants include Mumbai, Maharashtra; Gurugram, Haryana; and Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Minimum qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or an equivalent level of practical experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in stakeholder management, business, sales, or customer engagement.
Preferred qualifications
- Understanding of traditional and digital marketing approaches, including products across online advertising.
- Strong familiarity with the local market, along with solid investigative and research ability.
- Capability to assess problems, build recommendations, and create action plans.
- Experience leading and coordinating several projects with both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of customers with account managers and help achieve business goals while delivering a high-quality sales experience.
- Build trust with senior executives, act as a strategic advisor, and help improve advertising investment by identifying growth opportunities, evaluating risks, and developing multi-quarter plans.
- Support customer growth through business development, partnerships, planning, strategic reviews, and education.
- Mentor colleagues to strengthen team capabilities and improve customer outcomes.
- Work with cross-functional teams to support customer expansion and long-term success.
