About the role
This position sits at the center of team operations for Platforms and Devices. You will support a leader in the Chicago site, while also serving as a flexible administrative partner to cover needs across the broader Platforms and Devices organization. The role calls for someone who can stay ahead of shifting priorities, keep day-to-day operations running smoothly, and use strong judgment, organization, and communication to help leaders and teams stay focused on important work.
The work involves close coordination across a variety of people and functions, along with a need to stay current on Google products and services so you can support projects in a thoughtful and strategic way.
Minimum qualifications
- At least 3 years of administrative experience in a high-tech or international setting, handling core support duties such as travel arrangements, expense reporting, calendar coordination, or facilities support.
Preferred qualifications
- At least 6 years of administrative experience supporting executive leadership in a corporate environment.
- Experience organizing small projects and events from early planning through execution.
- Strong organizational ability with the capacity to juggle multiple priorities smoothly and maintain excellent attention to detail.
- A proactive working style.
Responsibilities
- Manage calendars, keep schedules updated, and prepare meetings with limited direction.
- Identify office space needs and help advocate for appropriate accommodations with limited direction.
- Coordinate internal and external programs and events, including logistics, with support from internal teams and outside vendors.
- Handle travel coordination tasks with limited direction.
- Provide flexible backup support to other areas of Platforms and Devices as coverage needs arise.
Compensation and benefits
Base pay in the US is listed at $96,000 to $138,000 per year, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits. Compensation is influenced by relevant skills, experience, and education or training.
