Role overview
Google Cloud’s team works with organizations to help them build and scale with cloud technology. The platform is designed for security, reliability, and scalability across infrastructure, applications, devices, and hardware. Within the GTM Practice organization, this role supports the planning and activation of go-to-market strategies across Google Cloud product areas.
The Regional GTM Practice focuses on turning global strategy into execution, supporting the field on the biggest market opportunities and using performance feedback to improve results and help the go-to-market organization meet financial goals. As a GTM Growth Lead, you will work closely with sub-regional sales leadership to activate the globally defined strategy in the region.
This position allows candidates to indicate a preferred work location from Bengaluru, Karnataka, India or Gurgaon, Haryana, India.
Minimum qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent level of practical experience.
- At least 15 years of experience in a technical project management role or in a customer-facing role.
Preferred qualifications
- Background in selling cloud products.
- Strong ability to work across teams and organizational boundaries, build trusted relationships, and move talent and ideas between groups to support larger business goals.
- Comfort with quickly learning emerging technologies, methods, and solutions in the cloud and IT space.
Responsibilities
- Build and support a strong field community by encouraging knowledge exchange and sharing proven practices among field teams, partners, and go-to-market stakeholders. Ensure plays are applied effectively in the sub-region and that best practices are adopted across accounts.
- Work with MD Practice GTM and regional practice leads to refine GTM strategy and plans using insights from sub-regional performance. Review propensity models for each play and determine how well they match sub-regional accounts.
- Own the sub-regional rollout and execution of GTM plans across all plays as defined by the Global Practice Leads.
- Track and analyze cross-product portfolio performance to uncover opportunities that can drive business growth in the market.
