Job Overview
Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking a Project Engineer to support projects based in Dublin.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and advice to the Project Manager and team throughout projects.
- Coordinate regularly with the project team, design professionals, and subcontractors to ensure smooth operations.
- Conduct detailed technical reviews and verifications of civil engineering designs, models, and construction drawings.
- Enforce quality assurance protocols including concrete inspections before and after pouring, managing Requests for Information (RFIs), and resolving technical challenges.
- Help uphold and supervise safety procedures on-site to ensure compliance with standards.
- Track and document materials, equipment, and site logistics effectively.
- Maintain thorough and precise documentation and generate routine progress and status reports.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a relevant tertiary degree in engineering or related field.
- Minimum of seven years professional experience in a comparable role.
- Past work experience with a principal contractor on construction projects.
- Practical involvement with reinforced concrete frame structures in commercial and residential developments.
- Proficiency in using GPS technology, robotic total stations, and levelling tools is mandatory.
- Strong IT competency including familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office suite.
