Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer based in Dammam to support mining industry clients with key machinery including Pumps, Cyclones, Valves, and Knelson Concentrators.

Team and Location

This role is part of the Europe, Central Asia, North Africa, and Middle East PCV team, offering a multicultural and dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical assistance during equipment installation, commissioning, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Identify and resolve mechanical faults efficiently to reduce downtime and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure the long-term reliability and performance of equipment.
• Work closely with internal departments such as Engineering, Sales, and Project Management to solve complex technical challenges.
• Assist sales teams by recognizing aftersales opportunities and advising clients about new equipment requirements.
• Keep detailed records of service operations, including repairs, upgrades, and client communications.
• Conduct safety assessments, pinpoint hazards, and recommend corrective measures.
• Provide technical training to clients on the correct operation and upkeep of equipment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification.
• At least one year of field service experience, ideally in mining or cement sectors.
• Practical knowledge of maintenance, repair, and inspection of industrial devices, focusing on Pumps, Cyclones, Valves, and Knelson Concentrators.
• Strong mechanical systems expertise; familiarity with control and automation systems is advantageous.
• Understanding of industrial safety standards and best practices.
• Proven troubleshooting skills and ability to address technical issues in field settings.
• Competency in producing technical documentation and reports.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to undertake frequent regional travel to meet customer needs.
• Possession of a valid passport and driver’s license.
• Flexibility to travel internationally on short notice and adapt working hours based on project demands.
