Job Overview

Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking a Project Engineer to support projects based in Dublin.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and advice to the Project Manager and team throughout projects.
• Coordinate regularly with the project team, design professionals, and subcontractors to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct detailed technical reviews and verifications of civil engineering designs, models, and construction drawings.
• Enforce quality assurance protocols including concrete inspections before and after pouring, managing Requests for Information (RFIs), and resolving technical challenges.
• Help uphold and supervise safety procedures on-site to ensure compliance with standards.
• Track and document materials, equipment, and site logistics effectively.
• Maintain thorough and precise documentation and generate routine progress and status reports.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a relevant tertiary degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum of seven years professional experience in a comparable role.
• Past work experience with a principal contractor on construction projects.
• Practical involvement with reinforced concrete frame structures in commercial and residential developments.
• Proficiency in using GPS technology, robotic total stations, and levelling tools is mandatory.
• Strong IT competency including familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office suite.
