Role Overview
The Waiter / Steward position involves several key responsibilities aimed at delivering excellent customer service within a restaurant environment. The employee is expected to maintain punctuality, proper grooming, and wear designated uniforms consistently.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve food and beverages according to established standards.
- Perform additional daily tasks as assigned by supervisory staff including Shift Manager, Assistant Manager, or Captain.
- Consistently deliver courteous and professional service to guests.
- Maintain effective coordination with restaurant colleagues to foster a harmonious work atmosphere.
- Ensure personal hygiene and appearance are kept at a high standard.
- Attend guests promptly, take orders efficiently, and offer recommendations and information about menu items.
- Prepare customer checks and handle payment collection accurately.
- Complete any other reasonable duties assigned to support restaurant operations.
