Role Overview
A leading organization is looking for a strategic and commercially focused leader to spearhead the market adoption of their payment solutions targeted at diverse customer segments. This key position operates at the nexus of payments, product development, partnerships, and commercial strategy, playing an instrumental role in crafting compelling go-to-market plans, accelerating revenue streams, and enhancing market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the expansion and increased use of payment products among merchants, financial institutions, and ecosystem collaborators.
- Lead efforts in cultivating strategic partnerships and commercializing solutions to facilitate regional market growth, primarily in Singapore and surrounding areas.
- Establish customer segmentation frameworks, identify ideal customer profiles, and prioritize target markets.
- Oversee cross-departmental product launches, covering aspects such as product positioning, messaging, pricing strategy, packaging, and overall commercial deployment.
- Create comprehensive sales enablement tools including playbooks, competitive analyses, client presentations, and messaging frameworks.
- Work closely with Sales Leadership teams to build robust pipelines, enhance win rates, and reduce sales cycle durations.
- Collaborate with strategic partners to uncover and pursue joint expansion opportunities.
- Design pricing and packaging models that align with corporate goals while maximizing commercial outcomes.
- Monitor market trends, customer demands, and competitors to uncover potential areas of growth.
Requirements
- Possess a university degree and have accrued 12 to 15 years of professional experience in Commercial Strategy and Go-To-Market roles within the payments sector.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of payment mechanisms, merchant acquiring processes, card schemes, payouts, foreign exchange, and embedded finance systems.
- Proven track record in leading successful product launches and execution of commercialization strategies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capable of engaging effectively and professionally with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
