VP of Product

Role Overview

This is a senior product leadership opportunity for a Canada-based candidate to guide the strategy and growth of a large consumer technology platform serving millions of users across the country. The role sits at the center of vision-setting, delivery, and business impact, with responsibility for steering the full product lifecycle from early discovery through launch and ongoing refinement.

You will work closely with executive stakeholders and engineering leaders to shape the roadmap, prioritize the right initiatives, and ensure product choices contribute directly to growth, retention, and revenue. In parallel, you will help expand a lean but high-performing product and design team in a fast-paced environment that is strongly data-led, AI-native, and focused on measurable results. This is a hands-on leadership role where strategic direction and day-to-day execution are both essential.

Key Accountabilities

• Set and own the product vision, roadmap, and delivery plan across all major product areas.
• Improve growth, retention, engagement, and monetization through disciplined prioritization and execution.
• Convert business needs and user challenges into product outcomes that can be launched and measured.
• Work in close partnership with engineering and executive leadership to align strategy with execution.
• Recruit, coach, and scale a strong product and design organization.
• Integrate AI into product development and internal processes to speed up innovation and delivery.
• Drive product strategy for expansion into new geographies and multi-market growth.

Requirements

• At least 8 years in product management, including 3 or more years in a VP, Head of Product, or CPO capacity.
• Demonstrated success launching consumer products at large scale, reaching millions of users.
• Proven ability to build, lead, and grow product organizations and operating models.
• Strong experience with AI-first product thinking, including AI-enabled features or solutions.
• Excellent product judgment in prioritization, discovery, execution, and user-centered decision-making.
• Strong commercial awareness and comfort working with growth, retention, and monetization metrics.
• Experience collaborating across engineering, design, and senior leadership in distributed teams.
