Position Overview
This executive role calls for a visionary leader to direct the marketing strategy and international expansion of a cutting-edge financial technology company focused on revolutionizing cross-border payments and financial infrastructures. The role involves establishing and growing an innovative, AI-driven marketing division from inception, aimed at enhancing brand presence, generating demand, and accelerating growth through product-driven initiatives. The VP of Marketing will collaborate closely with product and sales leadership to craft and implement effective go-to-market approaches, amplify market positioning, and develop scalable systems to spur business expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive, multi-year global marketing plan aligned with company goals, market needs, and growth opportunities.
- Construct and expand an AI-native marketing team leveraging automation and AI workflows for heightened marketing productivity.
- Manage the complete demand generation pipeline including traffic attraction, conversion, lead qualification, and contribution to sales funnel.
- Design and refine product-led growth tactics to boost self-service adoption of API-based financial solutions.
- Create a distinctive brand identity and technical messaging that appeals to developers, engineers, financial institutions, and business leaders.
- Lead diverse marketing campaigns across digital channels, technical content, trade shows, and assorted growth outlets.
- Coordinate with Sales and Product departments to align market entry tactics, messaging, product launches, and sales support.
- Define and monitor executive marketing KPIs, create reporting systems, and develop dashboards to link marketing efforts with pipeline and revenue generation.
- Present marketing plans, results, and growth strategies to senior stakeholders and executives.
- Establish robust marketing processes and infrastructure to support global scaling.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of eight years' progressive leadership in marketing within B2B tech, fintech, payments, or similar sectors.
- Substantial experience crafting strategies for financial infrastructure products, cross-border payments, BaaS, stablecoins, or emerging fintech.
- Proven ability to build marketing teams and scale operations from early startup phases to established performance.
- Practical expertise with AI-driven marketing tools, automation frameworks, and contemporary tech to enhance productivity and impact.
- Deep knowledge of product-led growth and marketing of API-centric, developer-oriented, or technical offerings.
- Strong track record managing demand generation, inbound marketing, lead pipelines, and their revenue contributions.
- Skilled in delivering marketing strategy updates, key metrics, and business insights to executive boards and leadership.
- Experience orchestrating multi-channel marketing, optimizing campaigns, content direction, and creating technical positioning.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks effectively, and foster organization amid rapid changes.
- Excellent strategic thinking, clear communication, leadership, and collaboration abilities.
