Marketing Director

Position Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Marketing Director for a 6-month fixed-term contract based in London with a globally recognised sports and activewear brand. This role offers an opportunity to lead marketing strategy across international markets with a focus on brand growth, retail expansion, wholesale partnerships, and digital engagement within a high-paced international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement marketing strategies across various global markets.
• Drive wholesale marketing efforts in collaboration with key retail partners to create compelling campaigns boosting brand visibility and sales performance.
• Foster and maintain solid relationships with major retail accounts to ensure marketing plans support commercial goals.
• Manage integrated marketing campaigns encompassing retail, digital media, public relations, events, partnerships, and brand communications.
• Work closely with Sales, Product, Ecommerce, and Commercial teams to seize growth opportunities.
• Lead and motivate the internal marketing team while overseeing external agencies and collaborations.
• Evaluate campaign outcomes, analyze consumer behavior, and monitor market trends to optimize investments and maximize ROI.
• Administer budgets and guarantee marketing activities uphold the brand's premium image.

Candidate Profile

• Extensive senior marketing leadership experience within sports, activewear, cycling, or performance-related industries.
• Track record of effective marketing strategies that enhance consumer engagement while supporting wholesale partnerships.
• In-depth knowledge of international wholesale distribution and retail marketing programs.
• Experience with premium or performance-oriented consumer brands.
• Strong commercial orientation combined with exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing capabilities.

Additional Information

The role is located in London and is offered as an initial six-month contract. Compensation is up to £110,000 plus benefits.
