Role Overview
This full-time position at the Sylvia Park store is suited to someone who works efficiently, takes initiative, and can help drive store performance through strong visual merchandising execution.
The role contributes to store sales and profitability by making sure the global visual merchandising direction is implemented effectively and consistently across the assigned location.
Key Responsibilities
- Share visual merchandising updates from the Market VM Manager with the store manager and store team through briefings and training sessions.
- Take part in team meetings and daily huddles to review stock, sales, and KPI trends that influence VM performance.
- Provide store feedback after aligning with the store manager.
- Ensure the store follows global VM standards and brand guidelines.
- Keep windows, mannequins, lighting, cleanliness, and pricing communication at a high standard.
- Create clear and effective shop-in-shop displays.
- Use in-store communication tools correctly.
- Dress mannequins and position props appropriately.
- Maintain all retail presentation standards.
- Carry out daily VM checks using the checklist provided.
- Submit monthly VM compliance updates.
- Refresh the weekly space management plan in coordination with the store manager.
- Support campaign rollouts, including night shifts when needed.
- Train team members on VM standards, folding, hanger use, sizing, and presentation.
- Coach the team on store layout and wall configuration using a train-the-trainer approach.
- Help improve the customer journey inside the store.
- Observe competitors and fashion movements, then share relevant insights.
- Identify fixture and in-store communication needs and raise them appropriately.
- Support other duties assigned by the store manager or VM manager.
- Store, manage, and handle fixtures, mannequins, and props carefully to avoid damage.
- Follow health and safety requirements at all times.
- Deliver customer service that reflects the brand standard.
- Represent the brand professionally at all times.
- Explain product features and benefits clearly to customers.
- Help reduce stock loss and maintain operational accuracy.
- Work safely and efficiently across store operations.
- Cooperate closely with colleagues and complete required training to keep improving.
Requirements
- Previous visual merchandising experience is preferred, ideally 1 year.
- Interest in fashion and sports is advantageous.
- You should be organized, meticulous, and detail-focused.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed.
- Self-drive, teamwork, and a solution-oriented mindset are important.
- A good sense of style and strong attention to presentation detail are required.
- High school education is required.
- Fluency in the local language, both spoken and written, is required.
