Virtual Clinical Educator

About the Role

The Virtual Clinical Educator role involves delivering educational support via virtual or telephone platforms to patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and their staff in primary or specialty care settings within a specific disease area, ensuring compliance with company and clinical management standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inbound and outbound non-promotional education related to disease states for designated customers as directed by client protocols.
• Educate on therapy and medical device products, including injection, infusion, or inhalation techniques.
• Conduct virtual educational sessions for healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers according to client guidelines.
• Participate in frequent meetings and calls ensuring consistent connectivity.
• Support patients and caregivers with medication adherence outreach.
• Enroll customers in educational seminars and provide resources to connect them with local community and specialty care centers.
• Collect demographic and disposition data for products, samples, reimbursement services, and literature fulfillment.
• Maintain high-quality customer service and adhere strictly to approved program scripts and materials.
• Complete all required training and competency assessments within specified timeframes.
• Develop and nurture strong relationships with key customers.
• Contribute to the expansion of services across healthcare sectors as determined by client or company directives.
• Innovate approaches to foster new partnership opportunities.
• Complete administrative tasks such as daily updates, weekly activity summaries, emails, and time reporting promptly.
• Attend local and national meetings or conferences to stay informed on activities and share knowledge within the team.
• Maintain company equipment and materials according to official instructions.
• Comply with all company and client policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Active U.S. Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree, BSN, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Preferably at least three years of experience in a specific disease area or related field.
• Strong professional communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities with a pleasant phone manner and clear articulation.
• Familiarity with call center telephone technology.
• Effective organizational and multitasking skills.
• Self-motivated and proactive work ethic.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and knowledge enhancement.
• Stable, high-speed internet connection at home.
• Dedicated, quiet home office space free from distractions.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay range from $25.20 to $46.80 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and business needs.
