About the Role
Inizio Engage partners with Modular Medical to support the introduction of the Pivot Insulin Pump, a diabetes device designed to empower the community and improve health outcomes. The Diabetes Virtual Patient Navigator role supports patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals associated with Endocrinology and Diabetes Specialty Clinics with educational and training resources in compliance with program standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate among patients, healthcare providers, specialty pharmacies, and stakeholders to address inquiries before and after device training.
- Deliver multi-channel educational support focused on diabetes and device usage, ensuring adherence to approved communications and resources.
- Offer training related to device setup, operation, troubleshooting, and proper use techniques.
- Present educational content consistent with client-specific policies and compliance protocols.
- Utilize sanctioned scripts and materials to provide accurate and consistent messaging.
- Maintain high standards of customer service in all interactions.
- Complete all required training and competency assessments within designated timelines.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Support service development across diverse healthcare sectors as assigned.
- Perform timely administrative tasks including daily computer updates, activity reporting, emails, and time tracking.
- Participate in relevant meetings and conferences to stay current with industry and company developments.
- Ensure proper care and maintenance of company equipment and materials.
- Adhere to all company and client policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Active healthcare professional license in the US.
- Bachelor’s degree or BSN, or equivalent professional experience; Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) credentials are preferred.
- Minimum three years of experience in diabetes care or a related specialty is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with professional telephone manners.
- Familiarity with call center telephone systems.
- Strong organizational abilities and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Self-motivation and initiative.
- Commitment to ongoing professional learning and development.

- Annual base salary ranges from 61,000 to 112,000 USD, based on experience and other factors.
