About ASOS

ASOS combines fashion-led creativity with advanced technology, with a strong focus on helping people bring their best selves to work. The company’s culture encourages individuality, creative expression, and a judgment-free environment, while giving employees the chance to create work for a large global audience.

Role Overview

ASOS is looking for a Videographer and Editor to join the Creative Studio team in London on a 6-month fixed-term basis. In this role, you will help produce bold, high-quality, trend-aware video content across PDP, campaign, homepage, and social channels. The work will range from polished e-commerce assets to fast-moving social content, using professional camera setups, mobile filming, and creative post-production techniques. The position calls for a mix of creative judgement, commercial awareness, and hands-on production skills to support ASOS’s visual storytelling for its 20-something audience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, shoot, and deliver consistent, high-quality video assets for PDP, campaigns, homepage placements, and social media.
  • Work closely with Creative Studio, Photography, and wider internal teams to preserve a unified visual identity across formats.
  • Help guide creative direction on set, making sure the shoot energy, authenticity, and output fit the ASOS brand.
  • Use a range of production methods and equipment, including advanced video cameras, mobile capture, lighting, and editorial techniques.
  • Keep studio spaces and equipment organised, ready for use, and production-friendly.
  • Contribute ideas for improved workflows, production methods, and creative processes that boost efficiency and quality.
  • Stay informed about trends, tools, and new approaches, and bring fresh thinking into the team’s work.
  • Develop strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and outside partners to elevate the final output.
  • Exchange feedback constructively and use it to support ongoing improvement.
  • Help sustain a collaborative, solution-oriented team culture focused on creative excellence.
  • Own assigned video projects from initial concept through final delivery.
  • Create PDP video edits that align with business KPIs and performance goals.
  • Work across multiple studios and shoot locations when needed, adapting to different creative settings.
  • Confidently direct models and talent on set to ensure engagement and brand alignment.
  • Edit and colour grade content to match briefs for PDP, creative, and social output.
  • Experiment with and trial new tools, techniques, and editing styles.
  • Coordinate with photography teams to ensure consistency across all content formats.
  • Manage resource planning for PDP video work, including freelance support.
  • Attend regular one-to-ones with the Senior to review progress, build capability, and track competencies.
  • Support junior colleagues through informal mentoring and knowledge sharing.
  • Refine workflows and processes to improve output quality and efficiency.
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders to align on requirements and delivery timelines.
  • Support ASOS’s culture by promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives.

Skills and Experience

  • Practical experience in video production, including camera operation, lighting, and audio recording.
  • Strong editing capability using tools such as DaVinci, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar software.
  • An eye for pacing, composition, and storytelling in video work.
  • Confidence in directing models and talent while maintaining brand standards.
  • Understanding of social media video formats and platform best practices.
  • Good time management and the ability to juggle multiple projects.
  • Experience working with creative and production teams across functions.
  • A proactive mindset for improving processes and production efficiency.

Additional Information

The role includes a competitive salary, pension contribution, and private medical cover. You will also be eligible for a performance-related bonus, a flex benefits allowance that can be taken as extra cash or used for other benefits, 25 days of paid annual leave plus an additional day off for your birthday, and an employee discount.
