Role overview
As a PXHub Administrator, you will be central to delivering a positive employee experience. You will act as the first contact for People Experience queries, manage the PXHub inbox with care and accuracy, and help new starters settle in smoothly from day one.
Key responsibilities
- Handle employee queries across the full employee journey through the PX Hub inbox, making sure urgent items are dealt with first.
- Provide a service-led response by choosing the correct process or policy to resolve issues accurately and efficiently.
- Update employee records and complete transactional tasks in Workday for PX teams.
- Work with PX Partnering and Centres of Excellence to surface trends, insights and escalations so the right teams stay informed.
- Own the full new starter and leaver process, including compliance checks, contract generation, discount code issuance and payroll audit trail maintenance.
- Coordinate with Payroll each month to complete checks and submit starter and leaver paperwork on time.
- Complete month-end system updates within deadlines to support downstream processes.
- Keep employee files and HRIS information accurate and compliant with GDPR requirements.
- Prepare ad hoc reports for PX Partners, PX teams and other stakeholders.
- Support PX Systems requests and changes to automated processes while following the required controls.
- Partner with PX Advisors and PX Partners to keep standard letters and contracts current and correct.
- Manage absence records, support family-friendly policy queries, and process Company Sick Pay, SSP and AWOL accurately.
- Respond to external reference requests such as mortgage, employment and tenancy checks.
- Identify opportunities to improve and simplify processes, staying current with relevant changes.
- Assist with additional administration and special projects across PX teams as needed.
- Help strengthen the company culture by supporting Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives.
Work arrangement
This is an office-based position in London. ASOS expects teams to work together in person at least three days each week to improve collaboration, speed up decisions and help people learn from one another more quickly.
What ASOS is looking for
This position is suited to someone already working in HR administration who can manage priorities, solve problems with confidence and use HR knowledge to answer queries effectively. You should be detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable supporting different parts of the business in a fast-moving environment.
Requirements
- Experience in HR administration is preferred, along with a track record of strong customer service while juggling competing priorities.
- A proactive, self-driven approach to problem solving in HR administration.
- Motivation, positivity and a collaborative attitude that helps build team spirit.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Comfort with numbers, data entry and learning large amounts of information, with willingness to take on responsibility.
- Ability to handle confidential information with complete discretion.
- Organised, methodical and accurate with excellent attention to detail.
- Professional, polite and resilient behaviour at all times.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for first-class service.
- Excellent time management, with the ability to prioritise effectively and adapt to business needs.
