About ASOS
ASOS is an online fashion retailer serving style-conscious customers across the globe. The company aims to help shoppers feel confident expressing who they are, while also encouraging employees to bring their authentic selves to work. ASOS highlights its commitment to inclusion through membership and charter participation, including Inclusive Companies, Disability Confident Committed, the Business in the Community Race at Work Charter, and an 8th place ranking in the Inclusive Top 50 Companies Employer list.
If you need adjustments during the hiring process, you can let the Talent team know and they will try to support you in a way that suits you best.
Role overview
As a Junior Producer, you will manage shoots from pre-production through the shoot day and post-production, ensuring assets are delivered and ready for the ASOS website. You will support the Shoot Producer team by keeping shoot guides current and helping resolve image transfer issues, alternate image requests, and retail queries. The role requires someone who is organised, detail-oriented, positive, and able to communicate clearly across teams.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and prepare daily shoots, and work through any issues with the shoot list alongside Shoot Operations.
- Follow up on flagged reshoots to make sure the correct imagery is produced.
- Run the morning shoot briefing and set clear expectations for the team.
- Make sure shoot guides are followed and provide quick clarification when needed.
- Review images for quality and accuracy against the shoot guidelines.
- Push the shoot forward so that, on average, 75% of work reaches Ready for Live by the end of the day, with the remaining 25% handled appropriately the next morning.
- Manage the US stock image transfer process by uploading brand images until studio samples are available.
- Coordinate on-site connection for Mix & Match SKUs to make shopping easier for customers.
- Handle daily email queries from Retail teams.
- Monitor the Alt Image Request Log and flag recurring issues or important watchouts to the wider team.
- Upload supplier imagery to the site when needed.
- Keep all shoot guides current and aligned to the latest benchmark.
- Carry out regular site checks to confirm imagery is product-focused and consistent with the brand.
- Maintain strong communication across the department and wider business to complete tasks efficiently.
- Ensure image assets are uploaded continuously to meet department KPIs.
- Set the pace of the day and work toward shoot targets.
- Create a daily shoot preview to share with the department.
- Work closely with other Shoot Producers to deliver the wider department strategy.
- Resolve studio queries and emails efficiently.
- Escalate legal or corporate responsibility concerns when they arise.
- Help maintain a professional and productive work environment.
- Build and sustain effective working relationships with Shoot Operations, Retail, and Post-Production teams.
- Take part in training and development while consistently reflecting ASOS behaviours.
- Share constructive feedback on challenges encountered during the day.
- Stay informed about relevant trends and how they connect to ASOS.
- Present yourself professionally within the business.
- Develop your creative understanding so shoots remain current and aspirational.
- Promote ASOS ABC’s and show strong brand awareness at all times.
Candidate profile
We are looking for someone with relevant experience in fashion ecommerce or a fashion-related environment. You should be a strong communicator who can build internal relationships, work independently, and stay motivated to go beyond the minimum. The role also calls for excellent organisation, time management, and the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-moving setting.
You will need a sharp eye for detail and a good understanding of catwalk and street-style trends, plus the ability to translate those trends for the ASOS customer. Being adaptable, quick to learn, and comfortable with change is important, as is a collaborative mindset. A genuine enthusiasm for ASOS.com is also expected.
Benefits
- Staff discount on ASOS purchases.
- Access to ASOS Develops, offering personal development opportunities across the business.
- Employee sample sales.
- Access to a wide selection of LinkedIn Learning content.
- 25 days of paid annual leave, plus an extra celebration day for a special occasion.
- Discretionary bonus scheme.
- Private medical care coverage.
- Flexible benefits allowance that can be taken as extra cash or applied to other benefits.
