Role Summary

This leadership position focuses on promoting and expanding Treasury product sales to corporate clients. The role includes overseeing sales processes, driving business growth for the Corporate Sales Unit, and maximizing cross-functional benefits for QNB Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and align with group strategies to strengthen QNB's market position within corporate Treasury services.
  • Meet performance targets, ensuring growth and operational efficiency in corporate Treasury sales.
  • Implement and monitor best practice procedures and KPIs, delegating tasks and supervising staff accordingly.
  • Promote cost-efficiency and productivity, understanding bank performance indicators comprehensively.
  • Address customer queries effectively and maintain service excellence in line with internal Service Level Agreements.
  • Build and sustain robust interdepartmental relationships and provide precise information for audits and compliance reviews.
  • Develop new corporate client relationships within authorized limits and act as a central point for complex relationship management.
  • Liaise with Group Treasury for customer identification, cross-selling opportunities, and staff training on treasury offerings.
  • Maintain up-to-date corporate treasury customer databases and gather market intelligence through networking.
  • Participate in corporate product development and report on market trends and customer needs to senior management.
  • Organize meetings and client visits to present products and foster ongoing engagement.
  • Ensure a motivated and ethically responsible team, maintaining the bank's professionalism and market reputation.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development, performance management, team coaching, and conflict resolution.
  • Comply fully with all applicable legal, regulatory, and internal policies, including anti-money laundering, anti-bribery, data protection, and risk management protocols.
  • Maintain strict data confidentiality and support operational risk frameworks, including incident reporting and remediation.
  • Uphold the organization's ethical standards, confidentiality requirements, and support ad hoc management requests.

Educational and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Mathematics, Economics, or related fields.
  • Advanced qualifications such as an MBA, CFA, or related professional certifications are advantageous.
  • Minimum of 12 years' experience in banking with at least 4 years focused on Treasury sales.

Essential Skills and Attributes

  • Proficient communication skills, both written and spoken English.
  • Strong presentation and Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • In-depth knowledge of treasury product lines and market regulations.
  • Analytical thinking, decision-making capability, and problem-solving acumen.
  • Customer service excellence with expertise in Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
  • Ability to perform under market pressures, balancing risk controls and compliance.
  • Proven marketing and sales competencies and good interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership qualities to motivate diverse teams ethically and effectively.
  • High ethical standards, awareness of risk, and a results-driven mindset.
