Job Purpose
This role is responsible for managing the processing of settlement and postponement procedures for retail loans, ensuring adherence to QNB's group policies and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Support achievement of departmental budget goals by maintaining efficient loan processing volumes and cost control.
- Implement and uphold key performance indicators and best practices relevant to the Retail Loans Senior Officer role.
- Operate within designated authority limits, promoting cost awareness and productivity enhancement.
- Foster robust relationships with internal departments and external customers to facilitate organizational objectives.
- Provide accurate and prompt information to auditors and compliance as needed.
- Address customer inquiries and provide solutions related to banking products.
- Ensure timely execution of activities according to established Service Level Agreements to improve processing turnaround times.
- Thoroughly review all retail loan cases designated for settlement or postponement, checking documentation complies with policies.
- Assist Retail Loans Supervisor with critical analysis of credit documentation ensuring all procedural and calculation accuracy.
- Maintain proper filing and timely updating of loan documents in line with procedural standards.
- Coordinate with Retail Banking Credit & Collections, Group Compliance, and Group Risk departments regarding loan processing and regulatory compliance as authorized.
- Assist in preparation of management information systems reports linked to credit processes.
- Accurately input loan data into the core banking system to keep records current.
- Continuously enhance knowledge of retail banking products, credit operations, and control mechanisms.
- Recommend process improvements to management to improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive commercial information.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Alternatively, a college diploma with relevant experience may be considered.
