About the Role

As the Vice President of Product Management and Marketing at Brook + Whittle, you will spearhead the strategic direction, development, and commercialization of advanced labeling solutions including pressure-sensitive labels, shrink sleeves, flexible packaging, and digital labeling technologies. You will be instrumental in driving innovation by pinpointing market trends, customer demands, and new technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and steer the product vision, roadmap, and lifecycle for labeling products ensuring high quality, profitability, and on-time delivery.
  • Develop and implement pricing frameworks and value propositions that align with market positioning and financial objectives.
  • Manage and optimize the product portfolio to balance growth and operational efficiency through regular reviews, performance assessments, and prioritization.
  • Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to align product offerings with manufacturing capabilities and scalability requirements.
  • Lead the introduction of new products and oversee stage-gate approval processes.
  • Create integrated marketing campaigns to boost demand, brand presence, and customer engagement, leveraging market segmentation, competitor analysis, and customer insights.
  • Organize branding initiatives, digital marketing, trade shows, and customer outreach programs.
  • Work closely with sales leadership to develop effective sales tools, messaging, and training.
  • Build and guide high-caliber teams spanning product management, marketing, and portfolio strategy, promoting a customer-focused and innovation-led environment.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, R&D, Finance, and Customer Service for aligned execution.
  • Assume ownership of product line P&L, focusing on revenue growth, margin management, and return on investment.
  • Develop performance metrics related to product success, market share, and marketing impact, supporting annual planning and forecasts.
  • Identify inefficiencies within existing processes and implement improvements or new protocols with defined authority and decision-making guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, packaging, manufacturing, or a related discipline is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • At least 15 years of ascending leadership roles in product development, commercialization, or strategic growth functions.
  • Extensive experience in the labels, packaging, printing, or converting industries or related manufacturing sectors is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects from concept through product launch with strong business acumen and financial expertise.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing teams and driving organizational change at the enterprise level.
