The organization empowers teenagers to catalyze positive change in their families, schools, and neighborhoods, recognizing that lack of health education can result in long-term social, emotional, and physical difficulties.

Role Overview

The newly created Growth & Strategic Partnerships Division seeks a Vice President to lead and shape its vision and execution. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role encompasses leading national funder relations, strategic partnerships, development efforts, grant administration, fundraising, brand direction, and growth of alumni and community partnerships. You will build and maintain key relationships, spearhead brand strategy, oversee a dedicated team, and drive revenue growth aligned with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive external partnership strategy aligning funder priorities with growth targets.
  • Act as a principal external representative alongside the CEO, cultivating relationships with health systems, corporate sponsors, education sectors, foundations, and community partners.
  • Lead the full lifecycle of partnership sales for mid-level and emerging opportunities, including pitching, proposal development, and grant applications.
  • Steward existing partnerships to enhance loyalty, value, renewals, and upgrades, while tracking funding trends and market shifts.
  • Set brand strategy and oversee marketing initiatives, guiding the Marketing Manager in executing across digital platforms and communications.
  • Translate research-backed impact data into compelling narratives and collateral such as partnership decks and impact reports.
  • Represent HealthCorps at relevant conferences, sector gatherings, and media events.
  • Build and nurture local advisory boards and alumni networks to deepen community engagement and organizational presence in target markets.
  • Direct and mentor a high-performing team comprising development, marketing, events, and alumni/community managers while managing personal partnership accounts.
  • Establish, track, and report division KPIs related to pipeline growth, revenue, and brand performance to leadership and board.
  • Oversee division budgeting and contribute to organizational strategic planning as part of the leadership team.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, public health, communications, marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum seven years experience in strategic partnerships, business development, sales, or revenue leadership roles across sectors.
  • Proven ability to close and nurture significant partnerships and manage multiple accounts.
  • Experience leading and developing teams while maintaining individual contributor responsibilities.
  • Strong pitching and presentation capabilities, comfortable in diverse professional settings.
  • Skill in setting brand direction and overseeing marketing or communications functions, with the ability to convey complex program outcomes effectively.
  • Excellent written communication skills, adept with partner proposals, grant narratives, and impact documentation.
  • Familiarity with health systems, corporate social responsibility, education, or youth-serving organizations is advantageous.
  • Comfort working in entrepreneurial, high-growth environments requiring system creation and adaptability.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and data-driven management of sales pipelines and partner relationships.
  • Willingness to travel to HealthCorps hubs, partner locations, and events as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within healthcare, health systems, corporate social responsibility, or youth-serving nonprofits or for-profits.
  • Proven track record in raising revenue through client, sponsor, or partner networks; fundraising experience is a plus.
  • Experience establishing advisory boards, steering committees, or community engagement frameworks.
  • Ability to apply commercial business development skills to mission-driven contexts.
  • Advanced degree such as a Master’s or equivalent training.
