Role overview

The Vice President of Quality Assurance is a full-time remote leadership role focused on strengthening the organization’s quality systems across all legal services and internal workflows. The position is centered on building stronger standards, improving consistency, and making sure service delivery aligns with the firm’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

  • Create and roll out quality assurance policies, procedures, and control measures across the firm.
  • Define performance indicators and use them to track quality and process adherence.
  • Lead quality reviews and internal audits, including evaluations of case handling methods.
  • Work with practice leaders and other stakeholders to identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
  • Analyze quality data and translate findings into practical improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts aimed at process enhancement and standardization.
  • Advise leadership on regulatory obligations and compliance expectations relevant to the business.
  • Prepare clear reports and updates for senior management.
  • Coach and mentor team members on quality standards and best practices.
  • Promote accountability and ensure quality goals remain aligned with broader business priorities.

Qualifications and experience

  • Solid experience in quality assurance and quality management, with a track record of building and sustaining organization-wide quality systems.
  • Hands-on knowledge of quality control methods, including standard setting, performance monitoring, and corrective or preventive action planning.
  • Background in quality audits, with the ability to plan, execute, and document internal audit and process review activities.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in legal or other professional services settings.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, including people management, stakeholder coordination, and change management in complex environments.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, sound judgment, and careful documentation habits.
  • Comfort working remotely while managing multiple priorities and collaborating with distributed, cross-functional, and international teams.
  • An advanced degree in law, business, quality management, or a related discipline is preferred, and quality or compliance certifications are considered an advantage.

Additional information

This role is based in Urban Honolulu, HI and is structured as a remote full-time position.
