Job description

Role Overview

The Vice President of Products is a remote, full-time leadership role accountable for crafting and directing the product vision, strategy, and roadmap covering UX, UI, web development, and support services. This position manages the entire product lifecycle—from initial market research and discovery through launch, ongoing optimization, and iterative improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Daily duties involve guiding product teams, setting priorities, aligning product decisions with overall business goals, and collaborating closely with design, engineering, sales, marketing, and customer support departments. The role demands analyzing market trends and product performance metrics to establish success criteria and ensure products provide significant value to clients and end users. Additionally, mentoring product managers, instituting best practices, and fostering a culture of innovation, client focus, and data-driven results are integral to this position.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Expertise in product strategy and comprehensive product management, capable of defining visions, developing detailed roadmaps, and overseeing product lifecycle stages from conception to launch.
  • Experience in product development processes that involve discovery phases, requirements gathering, and collaboration with UX, UI, engineering, and customer support teams.
  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret market data, product metrics, and user feedback for data-backed prioritization and decision-making.
  • Proven leadership skills to manage and unite cross-functional teams, effectively influencing stakeholders across design, development, operations, sales, and marketing.
  • Demonstrated senior product leadership experience preferably in digital services, SaaS, or technology-focused organizations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities, effectively articulating complex concepts clearly and convincingly.
  • Experience in building and expanding remote or distributed product teams, including implementing robust product management frameworks and practices.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, technology, design, or a related discipline is required; possession of an advanced degree or comparable professional experience is advantageous.
