Job description

About Roebling

Roebling is an AI-first platform built for capital projects and industrial infrastructure. The company is focused on helping teams move from planning to construction far faster than traditional, document-heavy workflows allow. By replacing repetitive PDF and spreadsheet processes with software that combines deterministic modeling, large language models, and a no-code simulation environment, Roebling aims to shorten planning cycles dramatically and support better investment decisions for large-scale industrial projects.

The platform brings together elements of chemical engineering, finance, and operations to help teams evaluate infrastructure investments with confidence. Roebling is especially suited to people who are excited by the opportunity to use software and AI to speed up physical infrastructure development.

Role Overview

The Vice President of Product will own the strategy and execution for Roebling’s digital product portfolio. This leader will focus on creating strong B2B products and platforms that serve both customers and internal teams, improve simulation and engineering workflows, increase customer value, streamline internal operations, and support company growth.

This role reports to the Chief Technology Officer and partners closely with the senior leadership team on strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set product direction and carry out a roadmap that supports Roebling’s business goals, including identifying market opportunities and launching new products from the ground up.
  • Oversee the full product journey from concept through release, working across functions to keep development aligned with business needs.
  • Collaborate with sales to shape pricing and monetization approaches that reflect customer demand and company objectives.
  • Use performance data to evaluate product health, improve the user experience, and solve both internal and customer-facing challenges.
  • Research the market and collect user feedback to stay ahead of industry shifts and ensure the product continues to meet technical and operational needs.
  • Create a connected, intuitive customer experience across the full product suite.
  • Coordinate outside partners and contributors, and occasionally work directly with code or design details when needed, while leading a lean, fast-moving team.
  • Oversee data alignment across systems to improve operational efficiency and strengthen product outcomes.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of product management experience with a history of launching and managing digital products throughout the lifecycle.
  • Background building and growing B2B products, preferably for technical, engineering, process, industrial, or capital projects users.
  • Solid knowledge of agile development practices and product management methods.
  • Experience working with outsourced developers, designers, and other external resources.
  • Comfort with getting into the details, including code or design, to ensure strong execution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work well across teams.
  • Data-informed approach to decision-making with experience tracking and improving product metrics.
  • Preferred academic background in Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Work Arrangement

This position can be remote with meaningful travel requirements, or it can be based in one of the team hubs. Roebling strongly prefers candidates near its hubs in NYC, the SF Bay Area, Boston, or Houston who are open to hybrid work, though the company is willing to hire the strongest candidate regardless of location.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Daily lunch allowance
  • Access to coworking space in NYC, Boston, and the SF Bay Area
  • Competitive pay with equity
  • Flexible paid time off
  • 401(k) plan
  • Team offsites

Equal Opportunity

Roebling is an equal opportunity employer and considers all applicants and employees without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. The company is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace that welcomes people from all backgrounds and experiences.
