About the Role
XTEND is hiring a senior operations leader to direct and strengthen its U.S. operational setup in Tampa, Florida. In this position, you will help scale advanced drone systems used in Defense, Law Enforcement, and HLS by creating a robust operating model across supply chain, production, and internal support functions.
You will report to the CEO and ensure the U.S. site runs efficiently while staying closely connected with the company’s Global HQ in Israel.
Key Mission
- Take ownership of major U.S. operational areas, including procurement, logistics, quality assurance, and production.
- Act as the main connection point between U.S. operations and Israel-based teams in Finance, IT, and HR, supporting one culture and one operating standard.
- Develop and implement operational plans that enable fast growth, tighter cost control, and strong compliance.
- Support revenue targets and production goals through disciplined operational execution.
What You Will Do
- Provide executive leadership that encourages accountability and smooth coordination across local teams and Global HQ.
- Drive manufacturing performance through Lean Manufacturing practices and ongoing process improvement.
- Build resilient supplier partnerships and manage a supply chain that is efficient, scalable, and cost-conscious.
- Serve as the U.S. point of contact for global Finance, HR, and IT matters, ensuring alignment with XTEND policies and procedures.
- Oversee compliance with applicable local and international requirements, including ITAR/EAR where relevant.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in operations and supply chain management, including 5 or more years in a leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated success in running and improving complex manufacturing and logistics environments.
- Strong strategic and analytical thinking with the ability to solve operational issues and scale processes effectively.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, especially when working across time zones and cultures.
Bonus Experience
- Background in aerospace, defense, or complex hardware manufacturing is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with U.S. business regulations and government contracting standards.
- Experience implementing ERP systems and using advanced supply chain optimization tools.
