Role Summary
The Vice-President of Operations for North America is a remote, full-time leadership position responsible for directing regional operations, improving performance, and advancing growth priorities. The role oversees operational planning and execution across multiple functions, making sure that processes, systems, and resources stay aligned with business goals. It involves managing North American P&L, tracking key performance indicators, and driving ongoing improvement efforts. The position partners with functional leaders to strengthen customer service delivery, improve project execution, and uphold compliance and risk controls. It also supports teams through organizational change, promotes accountability and teamwork, and speaks for North American operations in executive-level forums.
Qualifications
- Solid expertise in operations leadership and project management, with the ability to coordinate complex initiatives and improve processes from start to finish.
- Proven strength in managing P&L and shaping strategy to support profitable expansion and long-term regional goals.
- Hands-on experience improving customer service operations and aligning service standards with business objectives.
- Prior leadership of regional or multi-location teams, ideally in a remote or distributed setup.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a data-informed approach to execution.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, including the capacity to influence people at different levels.
- Experience in operations leadership across North America; exposure to international or cross-border business is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a closely related discipline; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
