Job description
Role Overview
This is a full-time remote leadership position focused on advancing operational excellence across manufacturing and supply chain functions. The role is accountable for building, deploying, and overseeing improvement systems that standardize ways of working, strengthen performance measurement, and spread best practices across the business.
What You Will Do
You will review operational performance data, spot opportunities to improve efficiency and quality, and support plant and functional leaders in executing improvement initiatives. The position also involves coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve clear, measurable results.
In addition, you will create and deliver training programs, help manage organizational change, and partner with senior leadership on strategic planning, capacity improvement, and cost-reduction priorities.
You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory expectations while encouraging a strong culture of ownership, discipline, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Deep background in manufacturing operations and manufacturing operations management, ideally within industrial or materials manufacturing settings.
- Hands-on success leading operational excellence and operations management initiatives, including lean, Six Sigma, or comparable improvement programs.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management, including forecasting demand, logistics, inventory control, and supplier performance.
- Ability to analyze complex operational information, generate practical insights, and convert them into action plans.
- Experience leading diverse teams, shaping stakeholder alignment, and driving change in a matrixed environment.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation ability, with effectiveness in a remote work setup.
- Experience creating and scaling standardized processes, KPIs, and governance practices across multiple sites or business units.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline; an advanced degree or certifications such as Lean or Six Sigma are advantageous.
