About Roboze and Role Overview
Roboze is a worldwide leader specializing in high-performance polymer and composite additive manufacturing, catering to sectors such as aerospace, defense, and energy. Our ambitious growth hinges on broadening industrial adoption of premium materials via a scalable ecosystem driven by partners. Materials play a central role, not only as a technology foundation but as a key driver of commercial expansion.
The VP, Materials & Ecosystem Commercial Partnerships will spearhead the global commercial strategy for Roboze's materials ecosystem from the U.S. This executive role demands extensive global travel (up to 60%) to develop a global network and orchestrate partnerships.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with R&D and Business Units to chart the materials expansion strategy, prioritizing specific materials, defining performance benchmarks, and targeting key industries and applications.
- Expand and scale Roboze's innovation and solution provider ecosystem worldwide, initially focusing on the U.S., enabling partners to contribute material profiles on the platform and facilitating knowledge transfer.
- Lead structuring and negotiation of commercial agreements with polymer manufacturers, compounders, and specialty materials companies, covering supply, co-development, and long-term collaboration, ensuring robust and scalable supply chains.
- Establish structured collaborative frameworks integrating R&D, business teams, partners, universities, and research centers to effectively execute joint development plans and accelerate new material introduction.
- Own and drive global revenue accountability related to materials including portfolio growth, revenue targets, and strategic alignment.
- Support commercial growth by promoting materials-led machine sales, assisting strategic accounts, facilitating co-branded initiatives with partners, and expanding industrial applications through material innovation.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Growth in global materials-related revenue
- Increase in active materials innovation partners worldwide
- Number of new materials introduced via the ecosystem
- Execution of strategic agreements with materials companies
- Contribution of materials to new machine sales
- Expansion of industrial applications driven by the ecosystem
Candidate Profile and Experience
- 12 to 15+ years of experience in advanced materials, specialty polymers, composites, or industrial manufacturing sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to build commercial partnerships and negotiate complex strategic agreements.
- Proven track record in developing multi-partner innovation ecosystems.
- Experience with capital equipment sales within strategic partnership models.
- Deep understanding of how material innovations foster industrial market growth.
- Preference for candidates with experience within the U.S. industrial ecosystem.
- Energetic, decisive, collaborative individuals who value innovation, act quickly, and embrace entrepreneurial spirit.
Our Culture and Benefits

- Competitive salary with substantial potential upside linked to results.
- An operational model prioritizing impact and execution over bureaucracy.
Why This Role is Critical
To accelerate scaling of materials development and secure strategic industry leadership, Roboze must expand materials development capacity, cultivate an extensive global innovation ecosystem, enforce revenue responsibility, and translate material advances directly into machine sales. As the principal commercial architect of this ecosystem, this role is pivotal in achieving these goals.
