Vice President of Investments – Real Assets

Role Summary

We are seeking an accomplished Vice President to join the Investments team, contributing to sourcing, executing, and managing diverse real estate investments in sectors including commercial, logistics, industrial, residential, and alternative assets. This position provides a unique chance to collaborate with a seasoned investment team on complex deals while influencing portfolio strategy and driving value enhancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and assess potential investments spanning multiple real estate asset classes.
• Lead efforts in financial modelling, valuation, underwriting, and thorough investment assessments.
• Oversee due diligence processes coordinating with legal, tax, technical, and external consultants.
• Develop and present detailed investment committee materials and proposals to senior leadership.
• Manage transaction execution including negotiations, documentation, and closing activities.
• Partner with asset management to create and implement post-acquisition business plans.
• Track portfolio performance and uncover new opportunities for value creation.
• Build and sustain strong networks with developers, owners, brokers, financial institutions, and market participants to support deal flow.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior investment staff as appropriate.

Requirements

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a closely related field.
• Have approximately 8 to 12 years of substantial experience in real estate investments, acquisitions, private equity real estate, investment banking, or corporate finance.
• Demonstrate a proven history of managing and executing real estate deals successfully.
• Exhibit advanced skills in financial modelling and valuation techniques.
• Be commercially astute with excellent investment decision-making capabilities.
• Showcase superior communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
• Experience operating within Asia-Pacific real estate markets is a distinct advantage.
