Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Finance to join the leadership team at a rapidly growing technology and AI company based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The organization is on a clear trajectory toward an initial public offering (IPO) on the Saudi Exchange. This role will act as a vital strategic partner to the CEO during and after the IPO process.
Key Duties
- Lead and manage IPO preparation activities, ensuring financial structuring, compliance with regulatory standards, investor relations, and adherence to Saudi Exchange listing criteria.
- Oversee comprehensive financial strategy development including planning, forecasting, capital distribution, and interactions with investors.
- Provide leadership and oversight to a Finance Director and a focused finance team.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO in preparing board presentations, communicating with investors, and making critical strategic company decisions.
- Implement and sustain strong financial controls, reporting systems, and corporate governance suitable for a publicly listed company.
- Utilize in-depth understanding of the technology and AI industries to develop financial models that support growth initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 15 years in progressive senior finance roles, preferably in technology, AI, or technology consulting.
- Proven hands-on leadership of a full IPO process is mandatory.
- Experience working within the Saudi Arabian market is required, with familiarity in Tadawul exchange regulations preferred.
- Arabic language skills are advantageous; candidates who are Saudi nationals or fluent Arabic speakers are strongly encouraged.
- Advanced education from an elite university (such as Cambridge, Harvard, Oxford, or an equivalent institution).
- Professional accounting certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA are mandatory.
- Residency in Riyadh or willingness to relocate is necessary.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage effectively with CEOs, boards, and institutional investors.
