Overview

Immediate, a client of Corkyy, is seeking an experienced Vice President of Finance to spearhead the company's forward-looking financial strategies. This role involves overseeing budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, liquidity management, and capital raising activities essential to support Immediate's growth trajectory.

In collaboration with the Controller—who handles accounting operations, historical financial reporting, and GAAP compliance—the VP of Finance will concentrate on future capital needs aligning with the company's strategic direction, especially supporting the Earned Wage Access business model.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the forward-looking finance functions such as budgeting, financial modeling, and long-term financial plans.
  • Drive credit and equity capital raising efforts including outreach, negotiations, and execution processes.
  • Develop and sustain relationships with banks, private credit funds, specialty finance lenders, and other capital providers.
  • Manage cash flows by actively tracking liquidity, capital availability, borrowing capacities, and future funding necessities.
  • Prepare financial materials tailored for lenders, investors, board members, and executive leadership.
  • Collaborate with the executive team on capital allocation decisions, pricing strategies, unit economics analyses, and growth planning.
  • Offer financial insights and strategic support to departments such as Sales, Partnerships, Product, Operations, and Customer Success.
  • Create dashboards and reporting mechanisms to provide leadership with comprehensive visibility into financial performance and key business metrics.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in finance-related fields such as capital markets, private credit, investment banking, fintech, specialty finance, lending, or payments.
  • Advanced financial modeling capabilities including forecasting, cash flow and scenario analysis, unit economics, and capital needs assessments.
  • A strong track record of working effectively with lenders, investors, board members, and executive teams.
  • Excellent analytical abilities, communication skills, and cross-functional leadership proficiency.
  • High level of ownership, sound judgment, and discretion with sensitive financial and capital market data.
