About the Role
A discreet real estate private equity firm is looking for a Vice President to join their acquisitions division, specializing in identifying, assessing, and executing value-enhancing investments in various hospitality property categories. This position is highly focused on deal transactions with minimal asset management duties and provides comprehensive exposure across the entire investment process from deal sourcing through to closing.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new investment prospects by networking with brokers, property owners, lenders, and other key industry contacts.
- Lead the underwriting process including detailed financial modeling, valuation assessments, and investment analyses for potential acquisitions.
- Coordinate and oversee due diligence activities, deal execution, and closing operations in collaboration with both internal teams and external partners.
- Draft investment memorandums and deliver presentations on opportunities and recommendations to senior management and investment committees.
- Continuously monitor market developments and competitor activities to uncover promising investment prospects.
Qualifications and Experience
- Between 5 and 8 years of relevant professional experience within real estate private equity, investment banking, lending, consulting, or similar institutional investment domains.
- Significant transactional experience specifically related to hospitality real estate assets.
- Proficient in financial modeling, underwriting, valuation techniques, and analytical assessments.
- Proven capability to manage several ongoing deals simultaneously in a dynamic and entrepreneurial workplace.
- Highly effective communicator and relationship builder with a forward-thinking, business development approach.
