Role Overview
EnerMech is looking for a commercially sharp and highly experienced Vice President for the Middle East to oversee regional operations and help drive business performance in a key strategic market.
Reporting to the Senior Vice President - Eastern Hemisphere, this senior leadership role owns sustainable growth, operational excellence, customer outcomes, and financial performance across the Middle East. The successful candidate will lead operations across several countries and business lines, ensuring activities remain safe, compliant, and profitable while supporting the company’s long-term growth direction.
Working with Business Line leaders and global functional teams, this leader will promote collaboration, build high-performing teams, and help the region deliver strong results for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Own overall regional performance across the Middle East, ensuring operations are safe, profitable, and built for long-term sustainability
- Set and guide strategy across all regional activities so they remain aligned with EnerMech’s global objectives and One EnerMech model
- Deliver financial outcomes for the region, including budget achievement, revenue growth, profitability, cash generation, and expansion targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with major customers, national and international operators, EPC contractors, government entities, and regulators
- Support business development through major bids, strategic tenders, and entry into new markets and service lines
- Maintain high standards in HSE, quality, governance, compliance, and operational risk control across the region
- Work closely with Business Line leaders to improve collaboration, efficiency, and customer value across integrated offerings
- Manage regional facilities, logistics, infrastructure, and support functions to improve performance and cost control
- Lead and grow regional leadership teams by encouraging accountability, continuous improvement, engagement, and high performance
- Drive workforce planning, succession planning, leadership development, and retention across the Middle East
- Act as an external representative for EnerMech with customers, industry groups, regulators, and government stakeholders
Requirements
- A degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or another relevant field
- At least 15 years of senior leadership experience in energy, industrial services, engineering, or infrastructure
- Background in managing complex operations across multiple countries with full P&L responsibility
- Strong commercial judgement with a record of steady business growth and operational improvement
- Solid experience in managing major customers, contract discussions, and strategic business development
- Deep understanding of HSE leadership, operational governance, regulatory obligations, and risk control
- Prior experience in the Middle East and familiarity with regional business practices and legal requirements
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams through growth and organisational change
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and influencing ability, with a talent for building trusted relationships across cultures
- Arabic language skills are strongly preferred
