Role overview
EnerMech is hiring a Mechanical Supervisor for an on-site role in Gladstone. This is a full-time position reporting to the Project Manager.
Key duties
- Assemble and prepare job packs for site work.
- Report to the on-site Services Manager or Project Manager as required.
- Coordinate the sourcing of materials and services, including supplier discussions and procurement.
- Organise and manage activities across the site and workshop.
- Oversee processes to keep project delivery aligned with schedule, budget, quality, and scope targets.
- Prepare HSE and quality compliance documents and ensure all site and workshop work meets safety and compliance standards.
- Promote a strong safety culture and help ensure the safety of employees and contractors working in the operating unit or department.
- Use practical knowledge and experience to make sound decisions.
- Track workforce hours and monitor productivity.
Required experience and qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience supervising mechanical and engineering scopes within oil and gas, mining, or industrial settings.
- A nationally recognised trade qualification is required.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, along with a positive, can-do approach.
- Well-developed problem-solving ability.
- Clear commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
