Role overview
This leadership position sits within L'Oréal Luxe and is based at 10 Hudson Yards in New York, NY 10001. Reporting to the Luxe Chief Growth Officer, the role is focused on shaping and delivering the long-range direction for the skincare category across all Luxe brands. The objective is to translate a multi-brand portfolio into locally relevant market plans that accelerate growth, strengthen category performance, and support sustainable transformation.

What you will do
You will own the creation and rollout of a three-year strategy and framework for skincare across the Luxe portfolio. The position combines category expertise, consumer and shopper insight, financial discipline, and commercial planning to build stronger market share and improve net revenue performance.
- Serve as the category authority for skincare, with a strong grasp of prestige and luxury dynamics, including the path to ultra-premium consumers.
- Analyze shopper, consumer, and competitor landscapes to uncover white-space opportunities and growth levers.
- Share actionable insights on category needs, gaps, and opportunities with stakeholders at both local and global levels.
- Set, monitor, and manage KPIs tied to category success, including market share and net revenue.
- Create both short-term and long-term strategic plans for retailers in the skincare category.
- Identify incremental market share opportunities in the US skincare market and work with R&I and CMI teams to develop relevant claims for US consumers.
- Act as a strategic partner to BUs and DMIs to shape and prioritize innovation roadmaps.
- Design and recommend category activation plans in partnership with business unit and CMO leadership.
- Work with CMO, commercial, and marketing teams to adapt global strategies into local retail selling narratives and clear go-to-market plans.
- Support sales teams in building and executing category joint business plans within customer organizations.
- Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders by bringing expertise on consumer behavior, market trends, and category activation.
- Promote best practices in sales activation, including assortment optimization and promotional planning.
- Strengthen cross-functional collaboration across local and global teams by sharing shopper, market, retailer, and distribution insights to anticipate category shifts.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in skincare, with strong knowledge of prestige and luxury market dynamics.
- Proven experience making decisions based on data and market analysis.
- Strong background in P&L management.
- Demonstrated success in category visioning and growth management.
- Prior experience in skincare marketing.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
Compensation and benefits
The base salary range for this role is $172,000 to $250,000, with pay influenced by relevant skills, experience, and location. The package also includes profit-sharing and performance bonuses.
